Tonkon Torp Expands Estate Planning Practice with New Partner Abby Wool Landon

. Landon, who will chair the firm's Estate Planning Group, has focused her practice on estates and trusts law for over 25 years. She was most recently with the Williams Kastner firm.

Landon's practice in Oregon and Washington is focused on drafting, planning, and administering estates, probates, and trusts, and helping clients navigate strategies associated with contested probate, wills, and trusts. Abby's estate planning expertise is complemented by over 35 years' experience helping individual and corporate clients with business law issues including tax, complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate management, business succession, and wealth management.

Landon has been named an Oregon Super Lawyer since 2012 for her work in Estate Planning & Probate. As a speaker and educator, she is engaged in raising awareness of the importance of wills and trusts, corporate formalities, and tax, gift, and estate tax planning in maximizing profit and avoiding conflict. Landon belongs to the Estate Planning Council of Portland, and is a former board member of the Oregon Community Foundation Metro Council and the Better World Club.
A native of New London, Connecticut, Landon is a third-generation attorney who received her Bachelor of Science from Simmons College in 1980, and her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1991.
