Tonkon Torp Announces New Partners

Tonkon Torp LLP is pleased to announce that Paul W. Conable and Michael W. Fletcher have been elected partners of the firm effective January 1, 2006. Paul Conable's practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation. Michael Fletcher concentrates on assisting companies with their general business law needs. "Paul and Michael have demonstrated their expertise and caliber of practice over several years at Tonkon Torp," said Robert E. Hirshon, Tonkon Torp's CEO. About Paul Conable
Paul Conable earned his J.D. in 1997 from the Northwestern College of Law at Lewis & Clark College. Paul's commercial litigation clients include companies, directors and officers from within the technology and energy industries. Paul has represented clients on matters involving shareholder oppression and breach of contract cases, as well as complex multi-state civil litigation matters arising from securities law claims, including class actions and derivative lawsuits.
About Michael Fletcher
Michael Fletcher earned his J.D. in 1997 from the University of Missouri and is also a CPA. Michael's practice focuses on representing private companies and lenders in a variety of business law areas including mergers and acquisitions and loan transactions. Prior to joining Tonkon Torp, Michael served as Vice-President of Affordable Equity Partners, Inc., a midwestern company that specializes in syndicating tax credits, practiced accounting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in St. Louis, Missouri, and served as an Eighth Circuit judicial law clerk in Kansas City, Missouri.
