Tonkon Torp Adds Michael Mangan to Litigation Department

has joined the Litigation Department at Tonkon Torp. His practice is focused on all aspects of real estate litigation for commercial and industrial businesses and property owners.
Michael has experience handling state and local property tax disputes, condemnation cases, valuation related disputes, lease and ownership disputes, and partition and waste claims. He has trial experience in Oregon's Circuit Courts and Oregon's Tax Court. Prior to joining Tonkon Torp, Michael was an associate with Garvey Schubert Barer, where he focused on property tax appeals, eminent domain, and general real estate litigation. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a commercial appraiser and valuation expert, spending nearly a decade specializing in complex business and real estate consultation and valuation projects.
Michael received a B.A. from Willamette University, magna cum laude
, and a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship for Excellence.
