Tonkon Talk Covers Employee Handbook Fundamentals
March 18, 2016
Tonkon Torp Labor & Employment lawyers Clay Creps
and Haley Miller Morrison
covered employee handbooks in the March 2 Tonkon Talk. During their presentation, they explained why all employers — including small companies and start-ups — need handbooks, which policies are "must haves" under the law, how handbooks can minimize litigation risks, and how to craft a culturally relevant handbook. They also tackled common pitfalls, and discussed navigating multi-jurisdictional policy and legal issues.
