Tonkon Attorneys Offer Advice at National Church Administration Day Event
October 20, 2011
Tonkon Torp attorneys Krista Hardwick and Colin Love-Geiger
are presenting a seminar to help church administrators work effectively with their most valuable assets - employees and volunteers in their church communities. The free seminar is 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 20 at Village Baptist Church in Beaverton.
The National Church Administration Day event is designed to help both clergy and laic church administrative leaders become more effective and responsible in an increasingly complex contemporary society.
Hardwick and Love-Geiger are members of the Tonkon Torp Labor & Employment Practice Group. Hardwick focuses on defense of employers against wage and hour, discrimination, harassment and other employment-related claims and represents companies in labor matters before the National Labor Relations Board and the Oregon Employment Relations Board.
Love-Geiger, whose practice also focuses on defense against employee claims, is a 2009 graduate of University of Oregon School of Law. He joined Tonkon Torp earlier this year following clerkships with two U.S. District Court judges and serving as an extern to Justice Virginia Linder of the Oregon Supreme Court.
