March 14, 2014
Shouka Rezvani facilitated a discussion at the March 13 “Nonprofit Law Un CLE: Tips From Pros and Practitioners” hosted by Oregon Women Lawyers and the Nonprofit Organizations Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.
Shouka led a lively discussion on the topic of how to write nonprofit bylaws that solve more problems than they cause.  She chairs Tonkon Torp’s Nonprofit & Tax Exempt Entities practice group, where she counsels public charities and operating and non-operating private foundations on organizational and operational issues. She also is a member of the firm’s Estate Planning practice. Shouka serves on a variety of nonprofit boards. She was instrumental in the founding of Le Monde Immersion, a French language charter school in Portland, and currently serves as board chair.
