Anita is a paralegal in the firm's Business Department. She assists in all areas of corporate practice, including the following:
  • Public and private offerings.
  • Mergers and acquisitions involving both equity and debt securities.
  • Preparing and filing compliance reports with the Securities & Exchange Commission and State Securities Commissioners under federal and state securities laws, including blue sky research.
  • Formation and capitalization of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
  • Corporate governance, compliance, and minute book maintenance. 

Additionally, Anita is responsible for training business legal assistants in the Corporate Focus database and she maintains electronic minute books and ownership ledgers for numerous clients. She handles requests for response letters in connection with audits of clients' financial statements and has responsibility for creation, input, and maintenance of client data room sites.
 
With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, Anita began her career at Tonkon Torp in 2008 after previously working for other Portland area law firms.
