Jan Neuman Discusses Water Storage at Water Law Conference

On November 13, Tonkon Torp attorney Jan Neuman
spoke at the Seminar Group’s 24th Annual Water Law Conference. Jan participated in a panel titled, "Hot Topics in the Development of New Water Storage." During her presentation, “Farmer v. Farmer: EVWD v. Jaquet and Water Storage," Jan spoke about representing 12 farmer clients whose property is being targeted by an irrigation district for a dam and reservoir to serve competing farmers.

practice groups. She handles water rights transactions, water project development, permitting, and litigation of water rights disputes for both government entities and private sector clients. She is a former professor and Associate Dean of Faculty at Lewis & Clark Law School and the author of a comprehensive book on Oregon water law.
