Jackson Lewis Offers Asset Protection Advice to Downsizing Seniors

was a speaker at an August 14 conference, “The Upside of Downsizing,” designed to help seniors and their adult children plan and carry out a successful transition to a new living environment.
Lewis spoke about how to protect hard-earned assets by planning ahead for life’s events. Other presenters discussed how seniors can prepare their home for sale in today’s market as well as how to overcome emotional and physical obstacles of downsizing.
Lewis chairs the firm’s Estate Planning
practice group and advises clients on a variety of estate, tax and probate issues.
