Tonkon Torp Hosts Networking Event for Upcoming Law School Grads

Tonkon Torp and University of Oregon Law School recently co-hosted an after-work event to give soon-to-be UO Law grads an opportunity for informal networking with practicing attorneys in Portland. Litigation associates Sarah Villanueva and Christopher Pallanch organized the event along with the career planning and professional development office of UO Law. It was held in the Tonkon offices.

“We wanted to give guidance and encouragement to third-year students who are focused on securing post-graduate legal work in Portland,” Villanueva said.

According to Sarah Bannister of Oregon Law’s Center for Career Planning and Professional Development, “Many students commented on what a great event it was and how much they appreciated connecting with lawyers who were in their shoes not too long ago.”
