At the October Tonkon Talk, litigation attorney Frank Weiss and intellectual property attorney Eric Beach discussed the role that commercial and cyber insurance play in a business’s risk mitigation strategy. The presentation explored the different types of insurance coverage every business should consider, whether traditional insurance policies cover cyber security risk, and issues to be aware of if cyber insurance coverage is needed.
Frank is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department, where his practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and product liability. As a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, Eric focuses his practice on advising clients on the value and business impacts of their intellectual property and protecting that intellectual property through litigation in both federal and state court.
“Tonkon Talks in the Pearl” is a series of lunch-hour presentations hosted by the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group.
