January Tonkon Talk Focuses on Dispute Resolution

Tonkon Torp attorney Caroline Harris Crowne and Jason Bolt, founder of Revant Optics and Society43, led a lively discussion on dispute resolution at the January 6 "Tonkon Talk." The talk covered when happens when a business finds itself in a lawsuit. Harris Crowne provided an overview of court litigation and then reviewed options for resolving business disputes outside of court, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. She also shared some proactive strategies to implement when a dispute is brewing.

Harris Crowne’s practice focuses on commercial contracts, business owner disputes, and accounting issues. She represents clients in federal and state courts, before judges, juries, and arbitrators.

"Tonkon Talks in the Pearl" is a series of lunch-hour presentations hosted by the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group. They are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the firm's CENTRL Office location in the Pearl District. The talks provide an overview on legal topics that impact entrepreneurs and startups.
