Gwendolyn Griffith, chair of Tonkon Torp's Taxation Practice Group, was a featured speaker at the annual Northwest Federal Tax Conference of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. Her presentation focused on recent federal tax cases and rulings in key tax categories including individual taxation, partnership taxation, corporate taxation, and IRS procedures. In particular, Gwen's presentation highlighted recent cases involving like-kind exchanges and problems arising from multi-year business transactions. 2017 was the sixth year Gwen was invited to speak at the conference.
