Back to Business Contracts with September Tonkon Talk

During the September Tonkon Talk, business attorney David Myers and litigator Michael Willes continued their conversation about business contracts in a session called, “Contracts 102.” The presentation focused on providing insight and tips on the real effects that seemingly mundane contract terms can have on business operations, employee relations, and intellectual property. To help attendees put the tips into practice, David and Michael held an extended interactive Q&A session.

David’s business practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and finance transactions, tax matters, and general corporate counseling. Michael is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. He represents clients in disputes ranging from negligence actions to criminal prosecutions.

“Tonkon Talks in the Pearl” is a series of lunch-hour presentations hosted by the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group. They are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the firm’s CENTRL Office location in the Pearl District. The talks provide an overview on legal topics that impact entrepreneurs and startups.
