Community Profiles

Sarah Villanueva

A commercial and appellate litigator, Sarah is an avid runner. She and her husband compete in half and full marathons with Team in Training, a community of athletes who get coaching and support in exchange for their commitment to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient services for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Over 6 seasons they have participated in long-distance races throughout the West, raising over $12,000 for this important cause and making lifelong friends. "I rediscovered my joy of running when I joined this group, working towards a goal that goes beyond personal fitness," she declares.
