Corbett Gordon Speaks to Criminal Defense Lawyers and Practice Managers on Management Practices

spoke on October 22 at a best practices firm management seminar held as part of the two-day annual conference of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Corbett co-presented a performance management session that focused on setting up management and human resource practices to ensure excellence. Her remarks addressed avoiding common employment law pitfalls from pre-hire to post termination, evaluating employee excellence, taking a good look at your leadership, helping employees both to grow and to succeed at delivering excellence, planning for and transitioning into retirement, and firm succession planning.
