Ned has practiced law with Tonkon Torp since 1984, and has been a partner since 1991.  He has a commercial litigation practice, with emphasis on complex real property, contract, and construction disputes.  He recently concluded a five-year term as chair of Tonkon Torp's Litigation Department.

 

Ned appears frequently in state and federal courts, handling both bench and jury trials, and also has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation.

 

Ned's clients include such major companies as NIKE, for whom he obtained a federal jury verdict of $1 million in one complex breach of warranty case, and an arbitration award of $3.3 million in another.

 

Ned is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in the practice areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, and real estate litigation.

 

In his leisure time, Ned enjoys relaxing with his wife and two daughters, working on their 1893 Victorian home and their Olympic Peninsula cabin, travel, volleyball, skiing, and hiking.
