Tonkon Torp bankruptcy attorney Albert Kennedy was one of a number of panelists at a September 19 Oregon State Bar continuing legal education event focused on one of Oregon's most complex bankruptcy cases.
Titled, "Sunwest: The Complexity of its Downfall, the Negotiations and the Successful Resolution," the presentation by Kennedy and other panel members described how they managed the civil, bankruptcy, receivership and criminal proceedings that ultimately resulted in successful resolution of the bankruptcy and subsequent $1.2 billion sale to Blackstone Real Estate Advisors in 2010.
